{Coconutty}

First of all I'd like to apologize for not keeping up with my blog. It seems that after I made the "big announcement" the blogging got pushed aside. Anywho, from some encouragement from a friend I am back at it and plan to post more frequently! (I hope!)

As you may have guessed our little Peanut is about the size of a coconut and as long as a banana (YUM)! I am now 20 weeks along and am half way there! I am happy to announce that I have made it through the pregnancy very well so far in terms of no sickness. My biggest complaints would be the restlessness in my arms and legs, my sleeplessness and my cravings for cookies (these are not helping my ever expanding waistline).

Telling our families was so amazing to me, I am so thankful for every one's support and love. Sadie is absolutely precious, she announced that she too has a baby in her belly and has been known to poke at other womens tummies and ask them "is there a baby in there?"

So far I would say the funniest reaction goes to Helena (Matt's cousin). We told them by Keelie wearing her shirt and Helena said "You're getting another puppy!" She was so excited, then found out it was a baby and not a puppy. The most unexpected reaction goes to Jason (my older brother) he said "Oh whatever" I am not sure if he didn't believe me or what, because we were talking about cruises and I said I could no longer plan to go on one because I was due around Spring Break time. Lastly the most dramatic (but touching) reaction goes to Katie (my cousin) she hysterically cried to the point no one could understand her, all we knew was she was very happy and excited for us. All in all everyone (Jason included) seems to be excited and happy for us. My daddy says "it better be a girl, because I already have a grandson and do not need another one" haha... we will see (soon).

My next appointment is December 7th and I can not wait! We are having a sonogram and we should be able to determine the gender! Daddy, Talana and Sadie will be here visiting and will come with us to the appointment and then Jason and Charli are coming to visit over the same weekend. It will be a lot of fun to see everyone and share the experience. We plan to celebrate Christmas while they're here since we never know if Matt will get leave so we are never sure if we will be able to travel.

As far as I know my baby shower is set for February 2nd in Ripley! I can't wait. Unfortunately Heather says I can't help in any way or know anything about it. I suppose since I am finding out the gender the shower can be my surprise. I am so thankful to Heather, Talana and Sherrie for wanting to throw me a shower, I am sure it will be amazing!

 We appreciate you following us on this journey and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Love always,
Kristen, Matthew and Peanut
