{Prince Charming}

 

I am proud to announce that Matthew and I are having a little PRINCE CHARMING! We had our sonogram on Friday and it was so amazing to see his little nose, arms, legs, heart & to find out that "he" is a "he"! It also meant a lot to me to have my family at the  appointment with us, it is something I will never forget. While I was waiting for my name to be called I suddenly got very emotional, it just meant so much to have everyone there and it was so exciting to see and to find out the gender of our baby. It was a little over whelming taking it all in while I was in the waiting room.

Unfortunately Peanut wasn't too keen on wanting to show off his handsome little face, he would wiggle his body and show off the rest of his body, but he was only willing to let the paparazzi get a shot or two his his profile. The technician had me drink several cups of cold water, jump around and have a glass of orange juice.. after all of that, he still didn't show his face (and I was about to have an accident) so we decided he was shy. She was able to get all of her measurements and he is a very healthy little prince, we could not be more thrilled. I am hoping that at our 3D scan our little guy won't be as shy, I can't wait to see his little face! (Thank you again to my daddy and Talana for the 3D scan, we can't wait to use it).

Now you are probably wondering what we are naming our little prince... if we knew I'd be happy to tell you. We are struggling on agreeing on a middle name, but as soon as it's set, I promise to share!

I have still been feeling great, really emotional, but I have heard that is normal. I am really anxious for Christmas. Matt has requested some time off and is hopeful that he will get it. If not, it doesn't look like we will be able to travel until the baby shower in February.

Our next appointment is January 4th, I can not believe how quickly time is flying.
