{Owen}

 

Yes! You guessed it, we have decided on a name. It was a tight race between Owen and Noah,  but Matt and I believe we have an Owen! (now if for some reason this changes I will let you know). We are still unsure of a middle name, but I am just so excited that when I talk to my belly I can call him by name. A middle name will come, perhaps even after he is born. We will see!  

I am 22 weeks (23 tomorrow) and still feeling really good. I have been struggling with dizziness, which the doctor believes to be low blood pressure and low blood sugar. So I am cutting down on my sweets (so I don't have a rise & crash and faint) and just keeping track of when I feel dizzy and what I've been eating. So far I am doing well. Also, my new best friend as been Tums as the heartburn I have heard so much about decided to greet me. I can't really complain about either of these considering I had no morning sickness or any of the other horrible, awful, no good, very bad things I have heard about *knock on wood*. My biggest fear at the moment is labor, I am completely terrified of it. So many things can go wrong and I just pray that we can get through it successfully and that Owen is healthy and happy.

 

Owen is a very busy little Prince. He likes to move around and give high fives whenever he can. I love feeling him move about, I feel like it's his way of saying "I am in here and I am having fun!" I can't wait to hear his little heartbeat again and to see his little face! (I can not wait for the 3D sonogram!)

 

We are (hopefully) traveling this weekend for Christmas and I can not wait. It's fun getting away and we have been unable to travel for Christmas in quite a few years due to Matt's job, so I am really hoping to be able to spend Christmas with his family & not alone.

 

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Next time I am able to update I will probably be in my third trimester!! Can you believe it? (I can't)
